City Tour: After breakfast, a city tour begins at the former Royal Palace, now the National Museum. Continue to Wat Mai, a temple renowned for its golden bas-reliefs. During Pimai, the lao new year, the Prabang normally housed in the Royal Palace Museum is brought and put on public display in this temple. Then the Wat Sene with its beautiful golden façade. Finish the morning with the visit of the most photographed temple: Wat Xieng Thong.In the afternoon, Wat Visoun, entirely rebuilt after being destroyed in 1887 by the invading Black Flags from southern China. In the courtyard of Wat Visun stands the Watermelon Stupa shaped like the fruit it takes its name from. We will also visit Wat Aham where we can find the altar of the 2 genius of Luang Prabang and then visit of Wat That where the ashes of King Sisavang Vong are interred inside the large central stupa.Continue and climb the 328 steps to Mount Phousi and its panoramic view for sunset. After breakfast, embark a local boat to visit the Ban Chan, potter village and the mysterious Pak Ou Caves. In Pak Ou, thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues are crammed into the two caves carved out of a towering limestone cliff. They range in size from a few centimetres to the size of a human. Return to Luang Prabang. In the afternoon, free at leisure.

After breakfast, go to see the different size and view for all 3 sites of Mystery Plain of jars. First go to site 1, When arrived on the jar field you will see the biggest one height up to 3.25m, average weighting of the jars about 600kg to 1ton, heaviest one weighs as much as 6 tons. All the jars are scattered on plateau and the hills with some trees, estimated to be 3,000 years old. And then go to site 2 and visit local Village where People making alcohol. Stop for Lunch, after Lunch go to see site 3. On the way back stop to see a old Russian tank as war scrap. After breakfast stop at the Talat Sao, the morning market, to look for some souvenirs (silk, silver jewelry, …) before driving to visit Wat Xieng Khuane (Buddha Park) far from Vientiane 27 km. You will find shops and refreshment. In the fifties, a monk has built there several statues and among them the laying down Buddha measuring more than 50m long. By these factures he was willing to unify Buddhism and Hinduism. The monk has built a similar place at Nong Khai in Thailand.
