多數人對於東非大草原的了解始於中央台的<動物世界>節目.遼闊的大地,自由自在的動物.記得很久以前看過’獅子與我’這部電影, 片中描寫的動物與人的真摯情感催人淚下.每次聽James Last樂隊演奏的電影音樂Born Free, 總會把我帶到遼闊的草原,感受奔放和自由. 其實在夢裡都沒想到會親臨這塊土地去體會和感受它的神秘.只源於LG 的一句戲言說他找到了一個很好的目的地. 然後我們開始關注並在網上搜尋各種關於去肯尼亞的攻略.在准備過程中發現這些肯尼亞的文章基本上是以個人感受的游記為主, 並未有相對詳細的攻略文章, 因此希望將自己在此次肯尼亞自助游中的一些經驗或教訓分享給大家, 以幫助大家准備肯尼亞自助游.
簽證
肯尼亞可以落地簽, 但是由於出境問題, 因此依然需要在出發前獲得簽證 (當然如果已經在國外的話, 去肯尼亞落地簽就可以了, US$50) 對於中國護照可以在肯尼亞駐北京大使館簽也可以在肯尼亞駐香港總領事館簽. 我們選擇的是在香港簽.
北京簽證費用為人民幣500元, 通常需要本人到場, 需3-5個工作日. (如果有人認識的話可以不需本人到場),北京領事館電話010-65328831. 所需文件:護照,機票,邀請函原件,及兩吋照片兩張. 接電話的小姐態度極其不耐煩, 想來去肯尼亞的人不會太多, 咨詢電話也不會太多, 真不知道為什麼態度會這麼惡劣.
香港簽證費用為港幣390元或美金50元. 2個工作日,但通常1個工作日即可簽出.最主要他們接受代簽. 在www.kenyaconsulate.org.hk 上有申請表的格式和委托書的格式可以下載. 但是這個網址在國內打不開. 在香港簽證手續很方便.提供簽證申請表(visa application form), 有效護照,6個月之內的2吋護照照片一張,機票原件（對香港居民可以是預定確認單，但對中國公民一定需要機票原件，復印件不行）,詳細到每一天的出行計劃,如果是代簽需再提供正本簽名授權書.(以上的網站上有很詳細的關於簽證所需文件的說明) 聯系電話: +852-2520 5000. 地址: unit 1903, 19/F, Far East Finance Centre, No.16 Harcourt Road, Admiralty, HK. 工作時間: 周一至周五 (節假日除外) 10:00-12:00/14:00-16:00 ; 周六 (節假日除外)10:00-12:00. 朋友代簽時簽證小姐還很善意地提醒由於是中國護照在香港簽證, 肯尼亞入境時可能會有問題, 但事實上在入境時沒有遇到任何問題. 另外如果所持的護照以前有過出境記錄, 那麼在中國海關出境邊檢時也不會有任何問題, 但如果護照上以前沒有任何因私出境記錄(即所謂的護照是新的), 則只能去北京簽, 因為第一次因私出境必須是駐中國大陸大使館或領事館簽注的簽證。
免疫預防針
雖然當地實際情況沒有想像中的惡劣而且在肯尼亞入境時也不查看黃本子,但是為自己好我們建議大家在出行前提前10天先打預防針. 在上海兩個地方提供服務.

機票
在網上查了下基本上只有阿聯酋航空公司(Emirates)和港龍航空公司從上海出發至肯尼亞首都內羅畢(Nairobi). 前者在迪拜(Dubai)中轉, 後者在香港中轉. 但後來在肯尼亞聽說卡塔爾航空公司也有航班從上海飛往內羅畢, 在多哈中轉. 從肯尼亞回來後查了一下, 果然如此. 當時我們選擇的是阿聯酋航空公司, 因為價格上要比港龍的便宜些.. 來回機票加上各種附加費如燃油附加費等大約共8000人民幣左右一張, 後來聽說如果買卡塔爾航空公司的來回機票及各種附加費等大約只需600美金左右. 可見事先如果准備充分的話可以節約大把的銀子.
上海23:30起飛, 大約迪拜當地時間大約凌晨4:30到達, 飛行時間約9個小時(阿聯酋比中國晚4個小時), 當天上午10:05從迪拜起飛, 大約內羅畢當地時間14:15到達, 飛行時間約5個小時(肯尼亞比中國晚5個小時, 比阿聯酋晚1個小時)
這樣從上海到內羅畢大約共需要20小時左右才能到達, 稱得上是長途旅行. 建議早點購買機票, 如果晚的話很有可能買不上票, 因為我們坐的航班幾乎是滿員。 而且盡量早點到達機場辦理登機手續, 特別是多人同行的話, 晚了很有可能無法坐在一起, 因為阿聯酋航空公司是可以在網上辦理登機手續並且在網上選擇座位的 (我們就是在上海至迪拜的飛行中沒有坐在一起, 因為在我們辦理登機手續時已經沒有兩個在一起的座位了, 此時距飛機起飛大約還有兩小時左右，更讓人不爽的是櫃台辦理的小姐態度比較生硬，有負阿聯酋服航空公司服務好的名聲，不過後來在飛機上一些事也說明了其實阿聯酋航空公司的服務可能就是一般而已)
Safari行程安排
在肯尼亞的國家公園做Safari通常必須跟當地的Safari公司或旅行社組的團. 如果在肯尼亞逗留的時間很緊張的話, 強烈建議在出發前就確定好Safari的行程, 盡管在到達內羅畢後也可以再找Safari公司或旅行社,並且價格也可能會再便宜些, 但是在時間上會耽擱.
在內羅畢有無數的Safari公司或旅行社可以承接各種團去各個國家公園, 而且完全可以按照游客所希望的行程來安排 (比咱們的旅行社強多了), 通常會有多人組成一個團(面包車可以坐7人左右), 但運氣好的話可以在整個行程中只有一二個人（我們在整個8天的行程中前四天只有我們兩個人一個車，爽）. 如果要求不與其他人拼團也是可以的, 只是價格上要貴了很多.
肯尼亞Safari的幾大熱門基本上是：馬塞馬拉（Masai Mara）, 安波塞利 (Amboseli), 納庫魯湖 (Lake Nakuru), 阿布岱爾 (Aberdare), 察沃(Tsova), 桑布魯（Samburu）等。我們這次去的是前面4個。下面是我們最後的行程安排供大家參考場（Safari公司通常都會提供一個確認的行程）
8DAYSAMBOSELI/ARK/LAKE NAKURU/MASAI MARADay1:Ambseli/Nairobi
Pick up from the hotel at 8am for Amboseli Heading further south to
Amboseli National Park. At an altitude of about 1200m - 1400m and
beautifully situated beneath the foot of Africas highest mountain
(5895m), the majestic snowcapped Mt. Kilimanjaro, Amboseli has Large
herds of wildebeest, zebras, elephants, giraffes, lions, and a variety
of other animals and birds all of which are attracted to this park due
to its permanent supply of water that filters through the volcanic
rock from Mt. Kilimanjaros melting snow. The park is also home to the
Masai people, those tall, brave, and proud nomads who live in close
harmony with the environment and the wildlife that surrounds them.
Amboseli was the location around which such famous writers like Sir
Ernest Hemingway and Robert Ruark tailored their stories of big game
hunting in the wilds of Africa. On arrivalfor lunch after lunch you will

Day 2: :AMBOSELI
Full day in Amoseli with meals and game drives.
Day3:Amboseli/Ark
After an early breakfast you will bid farewell to the Amboselias we drive
North throughKenya Highlands , crossing the northern foothills of Mount
Kenya, arriving at the Aberdares Country Club, a luxurious resort set on
the foothills of the Aberdares Mountain Range and surrounded by rich
farmland.
Later in the afternoon you will be transferred to the Ark, your tree hotel.
Shaped like Noah’s Ark, and in the heart of the Aberdares Game Reserve, you
will spend the night here, waking up in the night to watch wildlife that
comes out to drink water and feed from the adjoining salt water hole.
Day4:Ark/Lake Nakuru
After an early breakfast bid farewell to Arkas we drive North heading
westward as we make a brief stopover at Nyahururu Falls, still known to
many as Thomsons falls for its 237ft cascade. Through foothills of Mount
Kenya as you travel Northwards to Lake Nakuru. Located in the Rift Valley
1750 meters above sea level, Lake Nakuru is known as an ornithological
paradise by birdwatchers because the lake is world famous as the location
of the greatest bird spectacle on earth which boasts any where between one
and two million lesser and greater pink flamingos that feed on the abundant
algae thriving in the lakes warm waters. It is one of the few parks that
have been specifically established (Gazetted) for the protection of birds
specifically flamingoes, more than 450 species of birds have been recorded
here.The park has also been established for the protection of endangered
species such as the rhino and is also home to Columbus monkeys, Leopards,

Day5:Nakuru /Masai Mara
Today we will continue our safari adventure into the Masai Mara Game
Reserve. You arrive in time for lunch at your base hotel. Masai Mara is
Kenya’s most visited reserve and home to the “Big Five.”It has
breathtaking views and a panorama of fertile vast rolling plains which
supports a huge number of resident plain game and their predators.Apart
from the big five, the Masai Mara is most famous for the annual spectacle
of the Wildebeest migration where millions of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle
leave the plains of the Serengeti and cross the Mara River in search of
fresh feeding grounds.
Lunch will be served en-route to the lodge.On arrival we will have
afternoon tea and then go for a late afternoon game drive.Later you will

根據住宿的不同選擇，Safari可以全程住宿LODGE或者全程住宿CAMP或者是混合的，即在部分國家公園可以住宿LODGE，在部分住宿CAMP的。根據住宿的不同選擇，價格也會相應地不一樣，全程CAMP的當然是最便宜，一般會在平均每人每天80美金左右，很多自助游的老外會選擇CAMP。 全程LODGE的比較貴，至少在120美金以上，但事實上我們聯系了多家Safari公司，沒有一家是在130美金以下的。通常都會在平均每人每天160美金以上的。有些專門針對歐美游客的更會高達200美金以上甚至是300美金以上的，當然住宿的LODGE會比較好（其實一般的LODGE都不錯，因為每個國家公園通常都只有3-5家LODGE而已）。通常組團游的都會安排在LODGE住宿。如果選擇混合的，價格會介於全程CAMP和全程LODGE之間。如果只是在某個地方呆一晚的話，CAMP也是不錯的選擇。CAMP有的是帳篷，有的是木頭房，裡面會放兩張床，條件比較簡陋，共用的衛生間，沒有熱水，但大多會有電力供應。LODGE就要好很多，就像建在花園裡的飯店，沒有高層，全是平房，非常不錯。當然條件跟城市裡的HOTEL相比還是有很大差別的。
我們的行程的費用是平均每人每天135美金,該行程安排是全程住宿LODGE，在安波塞利和馬塞馬拉住宿著名的SOPA LODGE（均在公園外），在納庫魯湖住宿LAKE NAKURU LODGE，在阿布岱爾住宿著名的三家樹頂旅館中的一家-ARK LODGE。
我們這家Safari公司是在我們出發前的前一天才給了我們這個報價的（其中還包含一晚在內羅畢的希爾頓飯店的免費住宿）。之前確認的一家報價為平均每人每天150美金，還不提供免費住宿，可見多聯系幾家公司是多麼重要。不過為了這個價格，在最後一天重新更改了所有的行程安排，有點緊張（我們在兩個星期內聯系安排了所有的行程，價格，住宿以及在國內的一些准備工作，太倉促了，建議花多點時間去准備）。不過比較幸運的是我們後來得知我們這家Safari公司還是LP上推薦的公司之一。
通常Safari公司都會提供免費的機場接送，所以只要你告訴他們你的航班號和到達時間就能安全到達內羅畢的旅館。同樣離開肯尼亞的那天也會安排送到機場。
在Safari的過程中，由於天氣很熱會消耗大量的水，自己需要准備飲用水（Safari公司一般不提供）。可以問下是否可以由Safari公司提供（我們這家公司提供每人每天1升飲用水）。如果沒有一定要在到達目的地之前在超市裡買好，不然在LODGE購買的話會貴很多。建議購買5升裝的。住宿在LODGE裡的話通常LODGE會每天提供一瓶1升的瓶裝飲用水。
Safari公司的報價中都會包含三餐（Full Board），但飲料必須自己付錢。住宿LODGE的話，一般在下午LODGE會提供免費的下午茶（咖啡，茶，小點心）。
