Questions about JAL & All Nippon Airway:Well in December I flew JAL from Chicago to Tokyo and then to Hong Kong. The service was amazing. There was a huge difference as soon as I switched from North American airlines to JAL. They pamper like no tomorrow. And all the people who serve you are young beautiful women. Not just on the plane either! But at their desk, and even the security people. I dont know what they do. Do they get fired when they hit 30? :-) Although that might be common to most Asian airlines, but im just talking from my experience.
I really cant say enough good things about the service. They were all very pleasant, all smiling and very polite. I dont know what is going on behind the facade but if their were any negative feels those nice girls never let it show. They even change uniforms during the flight depending on what they are doing. I couldnt believe it.
The service was 10 times better then anything I have received on a North American airline.
In fact while I was waiting for a connecting American Airlines flight, then a group of AA attendants where talking next to me talking loudly about how moronic passengers were. One lady went in through a wrong door, and they were talking about how stupid she was. I couldnt believe it.
