As a solitary traveler, I spent my 6days’(30Apr. to 6May) vacation on this red ground—Cambodia, leaving its big impression and this breathtaking journey in my heart forever….
for my indelible memory, staying in Siem reap during noon 1st May to morning 5th May, 2005---
~Met David Tin in the airport of Siem reap, as my Cambodia friend;
~Sunrise at grandeur Angkor wat; sunset at meditative and silent Angkor wat;
~In Bayon, “smile of Angkor or Khmer” showing on the large iconography of the four faces, differently, mystically, serenely….light orange frock appeared sometimes, burning and lightening the young face of monk
~Losing my way in Ta prohm, so many trunks of trees twist amongst stone, temples and gigantic roots ….losing, fretfully, tiredly till to I walked out.
~Got a big bump on my head in Preah Khan --“the city of the Sacred Sword”, really gave me big big aching and touchable remembrance.
~Visit Tan som, a small and quiet temple, seeing the east entry entwined by a hug ficus tree,is it the picture on the cover of Lonely Planet, but where was that old man? Maybe I came too late, however I got a really undisturbed visit there
~The complete course of sunrise in my life firstly had been seen in Srah Srang companied by David, I took pains to wait for the dawn, the most beautiful moment always be short-lived like lover…

when I decided to go Angkor, I didn’t know where was it ? what would I get or forget? when I left I didn’t know where was it yet? but I knew I had been there during the stage of lose myself, so many impression, so many emotion, and so many regret…some of what I took, some of what I left, I knew I would be there again in some day of the future….
